Based on the film and small press comic book Scott Pilgrim, hopefully this will take advantage of all the gaming culture that the series is steeped in when it comes to PSN.

It’s messy fun that slightly under-delivers. The episodic, reality TV conceit feels tacked on (with the sound turned off, you’d mistake it for a standard racer), but thankfully it’s so flimsily attached that it’s irrelevant and spoils nothing. Consequently, Split/Second is better than Hollywood, less impressive than Burnout and more amusing than both of them.

In this age of DLC and $2.00 costume unlocks, this upcoming Street Fighter IV update is fittingly old school, as it comes packaged as a whole new game with new features and characters included.

You never feel compelled to do anything by the book and every session you play, you’ll find yourself concentrating on a new part of the game, continually getting distracted by something else along the way. Save for the combat, Just Cause 2 is everything we hoped the original was going to be – which is surely reason enough for you and Rico to get reacquainted.

Though 3D Dot Game Heroes is a fun game on its own, it’s basically impossible to divorce it from the source. Your overall enjoyment depends on whether you’re in on the joke or not. But if you do “get it,” then it’s the perfect game for the nostalgic fan looking for another taste of their childhood while getting a few good laughs at the same time.

While it’s an improvement over the first game, Kane & Lynch 2’s high production values and streamlined focus are overshadowed by its thudding repetition, narrowly linear design, five-hour campaign and hugely unappealing protagonists. It’s still a decent shooter, but it’s definitely not for everyone.

Tekken 6 reveals its thrills and spills far more readily than its nearest 3D competitor, Virtua Fighter 5, but ultimately it’s a shallower experience. It shows reluctance to move with the times, but it still offers a massive amount of characters and combos to master, and will surely keep hardcore fighting fans busy for a long time.

By taking ideas from some of the best games of the last five years and combining that with a respect for the material that isn’t so excessive as to  alienate non-fans, War for Cybertron ends up being the best Transformers game yet.

Taking place some years after the original title, BioShock 2 features the first Big Daddy returning to Rapture to stop the Big Sister and her ilk. Also, some long-awaited multiplayer has been added to the series.

Toy Story isn’t just a game for kids; fans of the trilogy should have no reservations about picking this one up.

Dragon Age: Origins is high fantasy role-playing at its finest. Its detailed world, memorable characters, meaningful choices, and engrossing combat system makes Dragon Age the sort of game you’ll want to replay from start to finish several times. RPG fans won’t be disappointed by this truly epic adventure.
